Welcome to the official FarProbe documentation.

Getting Started

Open the FarProbe web app farprobe.com/app in one of our Supported Browsers. Note that on Linux, some additional steps are needed to allow the browser to access USB devices - see Operating System Notes.

Plug in a Supported Instrument and click "Start Reading Data". This will open up a connection guide that will walk you through the necessary steps to grant FarProbe access to this instrument.

After data has been collected, it can be exported to an .sr file, which is compatible with PulseView. We will soon support decoders in FarProbe itself, but until then, this provides a way to further analyze collected data.
